Chicago woman becomes world’s oldest skydiver at 104: Age is just a number

Dorothy Hoffner has done a great job, a masterpiece that would put even the youth to shame. The woman is gaining fame as the world’s oldest skydiver.

All of this was confirmed by the Chicago Tribune, which reported that Dorothy Hoffner, 104, became the world’s oldest person to skydive on Sunday.  She said that she originally wanted to set a world record.

Dorothy Hoffner is a woman who has driven the Sky before.  But for almost four years, she was obsessed with setting a world record, and she was preparing accordingly.

On Sunday, she pulled off a historic skydive with the help of Illinois tandem jumper Derek Baxter and the crowd. When she landed, she was surrounded by news reporters and became the talk of the town at times.

With such courage despite her age, she showed that our age is just a normal mental number.  Age can never be a barrier for anyone who wants to achieve or achieve any goal.

Dorothy Hoffner is seen smiling in a photo in the newspapers.  Obviously, the happiness of her feat is showing on her face.

When several news reporters interviewed her about how she felt when you were landing, Dorothy Hoffner responded by saying, “It was wonderful, even up there, and it’s fun here, too.”

She further said that this moment is a very happy moment for her, and she is more than happy that she has fulfilled her desire and record for so many years.

When some reporters asked Dorothy Hoffner again what she was going to do next, she said, “I never stop and I don’t like to stop.”

Now I’m thinking about how I can make an even bigger record, how I can do something different. Next time I will definitely record something.

On the basis of this others can be inspired by me and I will also get a lot of satisfaction. Dorothy Hoffner also felt a little strange to see the circle of reporters around her because she said that she is never used to publicity and has always stayed away from the limelight.

She also said that she never aims to be famous or get famous for doing whatever she likes and does because she loves it.

She felicitated all the assembled journalists and crowd by greeting and also thanked all the crowd and journalists for witnessing her work.

Dorothy Hoffner’s previous Guinness World Records

The oldest parachutist in the world was Rut Linnea Ingegard Larsson from Sweden.  In May 2022, she won the world title at the age of 103, setting a record for herself.

As Larsson came down from the jump to the landing, she was very relaxed with earphones in her ears and listening to the Swedish song Try Your Wings.

Not only did Larsson love skydiving and parachuting from the beginning, but when Larsson turned 90, she had plans brewing in her head.

After she said this, everyone was speechless.  It is definitely not an easy thing to have such a dream and fulfill it in an age where no one can think of living.  This was said by many journalists and the public.

This once again proves that if there is a desire in the heart and a dream to achieve great heights, then our age can never be an obstacle to it.
